Proposal & Engagement Photoshoot Session on Siesta Key Beach - Quenton & Marissa

Quenton reached out to me looking for someone to photograph his proposal he was planning. He had put so much thought and effort into planning, and wanted to be able to have memories him & his soon-to-be finance could look back on forever. I happily agreed.

Quenton reach out to a local pop-up picnic company that works in the Bay area. They settled on Siesta Key Beach since it was close to where Marissa grew up and wouldn’t be expecting anything during a casual walk on the beach.

It was a quiet & windy day on the beach. The pop-up picnic set up by Picnic on the Bay was beautiful, with special details & a stunning “Marry Me” sign laid out on the table.

As Marissa & Quenton walked up to where the picnic was set up in a cute little alcove along a sandy path to the white sand beach, her hand went to her mouth in surprise. Even as the photographer, my heart was racing! Quenton got down on one knee and proposed. She said yes!

We then spent some time on Siesta Key Beach taking a few engagement shots. That time was full of love and happiness. Even when the winds picked up and rain started sprinkling down, Marissa & Quenton couldn’t wipe the smiles off their face.

Even though I had just meet both of them, I could feel the love radiating from the beautiful couple.

As a photographer, these are the moments when all my hard work pays off. I left with a huge smile on my face that lasted the rest of the night. How lucky am I to meet such wonderful people and share (at least in some aspect) with them one of the most special days in their lives.
